And yes, I always turn on the optic when picking up the rifle. Some people make a bigger deal of having to turn on the optic when picking it up a rifle than it really is imo. WebThe EOTECH is definitely a more intensive product. You have to manage it more than an Aimpoint. If you turn on/adjust the optic with the up arrow brightness setting, the auto shut off is 8 hours. If you turn on/adjust the optic with the down arrow brightness setting, the auto shut off is 4 hours.
